The agro-tourist pension „Poiana Verde” has been achieved by SAPARD program, The measure 3.4 - “Development and diversification of economic activities that will entail multiple activities and alternative incomes”.

The project named „Agro-tourist pension, new investment, Cionesti village, commune of Albac, Alba County”, with an eligible value of more than ROL* 7 billion was contracted at the end of 2003 and finalized in December 2004. Classified at the level of comfort of four daisies, the pension has 17 accommodation units, i.e. 16 double rooms and 1 luxurious apartment, dining room, covered terrace, a wine cellar, an exterior pavilion, playground for kids.

Tourists may take part in farm activities, rural parties, horse riding, guided trips to tourist objectives, fishing and hunting, sledging or wagon riding.

     

In order to get to the pension Poiana Verde you may choose the following routes according to your location:

- from Cluj Napoca – Turda – Campeni – Albac on DN 75 (140 km) and then you drive 2 km on DJ 108 from Albac to Horea to the pension;
- from Oradea – Stei – Albac on DN 75 (150 km) and then you drive 2 km on DJ 108 from Albac to Horea to the pension;
- from Alba Iulia to Abrud on DN 74 and then from Abrud to Campeni on DN 74A and 17 km from Campeni to Albac on DN 75 (100 km), 2 km on DJ 108 from Albac to Horea until you reach the pension;
- from Deva – Abrud on DN 74 (80km), Abrud - Campeni on DN 74A (80 km) and then 17 km from Campeni to Albac on DN 75 and 2 km from Albac to Horea on DJ 108 until you reach the pension.
